As I woke this morning, January 23, 2014, I am feeling particularly proud. 10 years ago today, we opened 158 Main. Wow! Time flies.
I feel responsible to thank many. My family, brothers, sister, mom and dad; daughters Cheyenne and Sinead, and wife Sherry Parker, my loves.
Also, I must thank the community that has supported 158 Main, the businesses, Union Bank and patrons, far too many to list. You know who you are.
Most importantly, my staff: Maryellen, my sister, who has been by my side with her dedication and hard work. There are not enough Switchbacks to repay you. Chefs Josh Pope, Dan Purvis, Kasey Longe, Hopeton Graham, Robert Trainer and Michael Phillips. Wait staff Kayla, Alicia, Anne, Danielle and Erik. You’re the Best. And Paschal’Simon MacMurray, my social media writer, thank you.
There are many from the past also, who deserve my gratitude: Averill Nye, Bob Melton, Jamie Dale, Brandon Brundrage, Chilli and Donna, Rodney Kelly and Zeb.
