CATERING

Early Fall Catering Vistas

At the time of this writing, we are sorting through, cleaning and re-organizing catering containers, dishes, glasses, utensils and such after two back-to-back gigs this weekend. Both were for the same client and consisted in a small brunch for a wedding party on Saturday morning, followed by a banquet for the actual event in the afternoon.

The banquet took place at The Barn at Boyden Farm. It is not the first event we cater at this location and it is always a great pleasure to work with the Boyden crew. Furthermore, the setting is purely charming and ideal.

Here are photos we took during set-up in the morning and in the afternoon. You will recognize the 158 Main crew. They just fall into step naturally. They have danced this dance hundreds of times.

Dishware, glassware, utensils, napkins, salt & pepper shakers supplied by 158 Main – see below for details. Flowers by Emily Locke, of Peck’s Flower Shop. We cannot take credit for the distinguished Vermont country-style table decor. One key aspect of such events that never ceases to amaze us is how everything comes together from so many directions and minds.

General catering information, fees and services

Each catering event begins with in-depth conversation with the clients regarding their specific needs and tastes. This is followed by a menu proposal. Please call 802-644-8100 for details or to discuss your event.

The JPD dining room is available for certain events. We also cater many events on location throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas, both indoors and outdoors. We can feed a small party of 15 guests or a large gathering of hundreds and provide the appropriate selection of appetizers, main courses, desserts and drinks to suit occasion, atmosphere and budget.

We take the time to meet with clients and to discuss every necessary detail to ensure we understand, meet and exceed expectations with a perfectly tailored feast.
